A little bit from me

APRIL 2022

Since January 2022, I have enjoyed getting back to regular photography post pandemic! So far this year, newborn and family portrait have been my most popular packages. I feel confident that my business is coming through the pandemic. I feel blessed that I have been able to survive.

I made a point of continuing to offer ‘socially distanced’ specialist edits which have definitely proved popular. My Magical Window Seat and Book Magic edits have been purchased by clients near and far. I will definitely be adding to these options throughout the year. As another way of growing Jo Webber Photography, I have also photographed venues and events for use on websites.

My bookings diary has been more full than ever due to my beautiful client’s recommendations and word of mouth. To them, I am truly grateful.

Wishing you all a wonderful Easter!

Spring Dew!

LOCKDOWN

Well, we have been in lockdown for a week already. It’s been quite a comfortable week for us as a family. There has been lots of home learning for my two children, lots of Wii sports, clay art and the kind of games that only come out at Christmas!

In a time of confusion and the unknown, I’ve watched the development of the virus and the governments’ reaction and the public’s denial. All the theories of how it began and how we are going to combat it. It is a very worrying time.

As a small, independent business this has hit me hard. I have had to cancel Mother’s Day sessions, Easter sessions, Family sessions, Newborn sessions and a handful of weddings. I, like many others have had to write off so much business. I can only hope that things are back to ‘almost normal’ by November for my Christmas 2020 mini sessions!!

I must echo the advice…

STAY HOME, PROTECT THE NHS, SAVE LIVES

Springtime

So it’s been a busy time over the last few months. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed throwing myself into photography! I’ve enjoyed portraits, cake smashes, newborns and weddings… I have explored a new style of editing (particularly in the wedding edits) which I love.

Of course, this fits in with being a busy mum of two and making the most of the lovely weather we’ve been having! Lots of outdoor playtime and walks.

I have limited June availability, and July and August are steadily booking up. Please get in touch if your wanting to book! Jo xXx

Saturday 22nd October

Today was the first time in what feels like ages (probably about 2 weeks or so) that I was able to co-inside a walk with my children, decent weather and taking my camera to get a few shots.

I wouldn’t say I’m really a landscape photographer. A lot of amazing shots are sunsets or night shots. Well my children are 5 and 3, so from teatime onwards we’re all about homely snuggles, reading stories and playing in the bath. On the odd occasion I get out after 5, I make the effort to get some great shots.

Today was all about having a nice walk with my children, along by the river so they could chuck a few stones in for the magical ‘plop’ followed by the infectious giggles. I got some amazing family shots and my 5 year old took a few too, which were actually perfectly in focus with great composition!

Happy Half Term!
